Tyler Soar Wins Second Championship of the 2009 Season

Nora MX ACU 2009 Championship
Sunday 18th October 2009
Bletchingdon

Norfolk's Youth ATV World Yamaha rider Tyler Soar won the 2009 Southern area 250 open championship at the NORA-MX ACU re-scheduled Round 5 at Blechingdon by finishing with an incredible 41 points advantage.

This is the second major title victory of the year, the first being the North East Championship with a total of 65 races campaigned and an unmatched first place win tally. The North East and Southern were the main titles Tyler wanted to win purely because of the amount of racing needed to win and with hard work, technical ability and dedication he succeeded. The most important thing for Tyler this year was reliability and that was provided by his trusted Yamaha YZ250F hybrid which never let him down once and took him to a multitude of victories.

Tyler wishes to thank his main sponsor ATV World Leeds who throughout recent difficulties this year has given Tyler support and mentoring which have helped to keep man and machine in contention. Thanks also to all other supporters, Westcotec Dereham, Goldspeed Tyres, No Fear clothing, Danger UK graphics, Scorpion Exhausts and R.B.S Engineering Fakenham, who's help this season is greatly appreciated.

Tyler will training hard over the winter by regular practice and winter competitions, which will possibly include the recently launched UK Supercross. Tyler "155" is surely a name to watch for the 2010 rookie season.

ATVWorld Factory Racing–Test Day

ATV World Factory Racing also attended this weekend’s meeting with an opportunity for riders to try out the new ATV World Factory Racing Yamaha YFM250R.

Powered by the all new Duncan Racing Eliminator Engine, riders who got the chance to ride the machine came back with fantastic feedback about its power and handling compared to a standard machine.

Also available to test ride absolutely free of charge was John Mitchell’s ATV World Yamaha YFZ450R fuel injection development quad. It was then down to pro rider and third place finisher of this year’s Weston Beach Race Stef Murphy to try it out in race conditions. Stef and the YFZ450R didn’t disappoint with a classic Stef display, smooth as ever, taking a superb second and first place win. The time difference for his fastest laps between his usual Honda ride and the YFZ450R just one hundredth of a second! What was even more impressive was that it was the FIRST TIME that Stef had ridden the YFZ450R!

ATV World would like to congratulate Tyler Soar on his two fantastic championship titles. Thanks also for all the support from our sponsors who along with their outstanding products have helped develop a championship winning team for in 2009 season.
