Tyler Rides at North East Championships R3

Norfolk quad racer Tyler Soar had a mixed bag of luck with his third outing at the North East ACU quad cross championships held at Wooley Grange County Durham this Sunday the 11th of April.

The goggle gremlins struck again in race one where after two laps he had a stone smash his roll off mechanism and had to remove them and ride the majority of the race with no eye protection as the mud had obscured the ,lens vision.

He battled on having to contend with the mud and stones being sprayed at him and his vision seriously impaired, tyler showed true grit though and finished the race to come in a gallant 16th place.

Race two was a back row start due to his placing in the first race but this did not stop him showing the skill and smooth riding that is Tylers trade mark as he blasted in to the first corner where 28 other quads batled for position.
Tyler kept his cool found his position and worked his way through the pack giving a display of cool calculated riding taking every jump smoothly and in perfect control.

Tyler finished race two in 12th place only just out of the top ten which is in the company of many of the British adult riders and seasoned campaigners.
unfortunately race three was to see Tylers retirement for the day as in the third lap as he was about to take a pack of four riders when an engine failure brought him to a stop, a frustrated looking Tyler was towed back to the pits, but was in a confident mood for his next outing in two weeks time.
