John Mitchell Dominates the British Championship Round Two

This weekend saw the second round of the British Quad MX Championships at Dean Moor MX Park in Cumbria.

With heavy fog and rain the previous day, it was looking like the riders would have to endure some mudbath racing. Fortunately the sun came out and the track started to dry. Practice saw John Mitchell on the ATV World / Yamaha YFZ450 in first place by an incredible clear 2 seconds!

The track conditions were demanding on both riders and their machines as race one began. John made winning look easy finishing forty seconds before second place and was never challenged. The domination didn't stop there. In the second race John again took the early lead and with nobody able to respond, he took first place again, this time with over eight seconds from second place man Jason Macbeth. That's four wins out of four and 19 point lead in the championship. John said he was extremely impressed with the setup on his bike and thanks all his sponsors for their ongoing support.
